MPN Visitation

Combining symptom specific requests with increased availability of timely physician services saves healthcare costs. Different patient types have different visitation needs:

Subacute Residents

• Initial physician visit within 48 hours
• Clinician visit at least 3 times per week
• Visits more often as medically necessary
• Physicians may alternate with NP/PA after the initial visit

Custodial Residents

• Physician makes initial visit within 48 hours
• Every 30 days for the first 90 days; every 4-8 weeks thereafter
• Visits more often as medically necessary
• Physicians may alternate with NP/PA after the initial visit

Assisted Living/Home Residents

• Clinician visits scheduled
• More frequently as medically necessary
